Write about you care about most. Because that will give you a lot of ideas on how to structure your story. If it's something you really care about that is what will breakthrough and communicate to an interested reader.

How do you handle book promotion as an indie author?

That is a difficult question that could better be rephrased, how do I promote the discoverability of my book. The answer is to list it in as many indie book sites as you can. Especially the ones that have the most offbeat titles and stories. Amazon is excellent of best-selling nonfiction and top selling fiction. It is important to have your book displayed widely on many as many book websites as possible.

What’s next for you? Are you working on a new book?

My first India novel is called Myself Lost. It is part of a three-book India novel series. The second book is called Dacoit Didi. The main protagonist is previewed in the Epilogue of Myself Lost. The third main protagonist of the third book appears one third of the way through Dacoit Didi. I should publish Dacoit Didi in spring or fall of 2027.
