For half a century, I covered world events as a radio/television journalist including 32 years an on-air ABC News Correspondent. Upon retirement, I began writing novels. The latest is "The Double Man," an espionage saga set in post-WWII Berlin. As with my other books, the story is fiction grounded in real historical events. "The General & The Lady: A True Story of Civil Love and War" is a tale of two real, secret lovers during the American Civil War," and "The Blood Island Brooch" is a murder mystery which draws upon actual historical events in America's south. All three books are available on Amazon and BarnesandNoble.com. When not writing, I play bass guitar in a classic rock band in the Charleston, South Carolina area.
