I have spent about twenty years as a journalist, pursuing stories, questioning narratives, and trying to understand the realities that shape our world. My journey across print, electronic, and digital media has taught me that behind every event lies a deeper human story—and that the truth is often far more complex than it first appears.

My work in journalism has also led me into the world of fact-checking and digital verification. Through the Google News Initiative India Training Network, I received training in fact-checking, data analysis, and the verification of images, videos, and online information. This investigative background continues to influence the way I observe the world and approach storytelling.

Writing fiction allows me to explore questions that go beyond the boundaries of conventional reporting. I am particularly drawn to the intersections of human psychology, spirituality, power, freedom, and the choices that define our existence. I believe the most compelling stories do more than entertain; they challenge our assumptions and make us look at familiar truths from unfamiliar perspectives.

My novel, The Amber Scroll, is a contemporary spiritual thriller born from these interests. Through its conflict between hope and control, the novel explores a question that deeply fascinates me: what happens when humanity becomes so afraid of suffering that it is willing to surrender its freedom in exchange for comfort and certainty?

For me, storytelling is a way to examine the human condition, confront difficult questions, and explore the enduring power of hope. I want my stories to stay with readers—not simply because of what happens in them, but because of what they make readers think and feel long after the final page.
